Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting for private equity funds, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Manage quarterly and annual fund reporting, including investor capital statements and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with GAAP and partnership agreements
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings
Assist with cash management, capital calls, and distributions
Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and process improvements
Qualification
Required
CPA designation required
Big 4 public accounting experience with a focus on private equity or alternative investments
3-5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting within private equity or asset management
Strong understanding of partnership accounting and fund structures
Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems a plus
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
