Responsibilities
Provide daily leadership and direction to maintenance technicians and contractors, promoting a strong safety‑first culture
Manage routine, emergency, and major maintenance activities with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness
Ensure rigorous adherence to maintenance procedures, industry best practices, and regulatory standards
Oversee work order accuracy, completion, and timely closure within the CMMS (SAP experience highly preferred)
Review maintenance plans to ensure proper materials, tools, and documentation are prepared before work begins
Perform quality verification of completed maintenance tasks, ensuring reliable 'first‑time fixes.'
Maintain accurate equipment documentation, history, and maintenance records
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow processes, planning, scheduling, and equipment reliability
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and site leadership to align maintenance priorities with production needs
Monitor key maintenance KPIs and communicate performance updates to stakeholders
Lead team development through coaching, training, performance discussions, and effective onboarding practices
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience supervising maintenance teams
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, agitators, seals, and rotating equipment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate across departments
Preferred
SAP experience highly preferred
Experience using a CMMS; SAP strongly preferred
