Data Analyst - Retail Energy

Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets from retail energy providers, including customer usage, pricing, products, transactions, invoices, and operational metrics
Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory to stage and migrate data
Write advanced SQL to cleanse, join, and transform data within staging databases
Collaborate with client SMEs to document field-level mappings and transformation logic
Perform unit testing, reconciliations, and exception reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness
Populate client-specified load templates and prepare data for platform imports
Identify data issues and suggest improvements to enhance migration quality and efficiency
Qualification
Required
3+ years in data migration or data analytics, retail energy experience required
Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools (SSIS, ADF/Azure Data Factory)
Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages
Knowledge of retail energy data (customers, pricing, transactions)
Effective communicator and collaborative team player
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or analytical field
