Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise routing and switching environments

Engineer and operate EVPN-VXLAN overlay and underlay networks

Perform network troubleshooting across WAN, LAN, and data center environments

Support hardware refreshes, code upgrades, and vendor-recommended fixes

Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams

Participate in change management, incident response, and on-call support

Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and operations teams

Strong hands-on experience with EVPN-VXLAN configuration and troubleshooting

Overlay technologies: VXLAN, EVPN-BGP

Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRF

Switching protocols: PVST, RPVST, HSRP/VRRP

Network monitoring and observability: SNMP, Syslog, Telemetry

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center networks

Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible)

Strong documentation and technical communication skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience

10+ years of relevant network engineering experience

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
