Responsibilities
Define the vision, objectives, and success criteria for projects and programs in collaboration with stakeholders
Ensure alignment between project or program goals and departmental strategy
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to executives and other key stakeholders
Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies, for both programs and standalone projects
Lead the execution of high-complexity, high-visibility projects that span multiple development teams and business functions
Plug into individual application prioritization processes ensuring delivery is aligned across engineering teams
Identify and manage interdependencies between teams and workstreams
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the success of projects or programs
Establish and maintain governance structures to ensure accountability and transparency
Dive deep into specific projects when necessary, taking on hands-on project management responsibilities to ensure successful delivery
Manage competing priorities across stakeholders and teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of results
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in project or program management, with a proven track record of delivering high-complexity software initiatives
3+ years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably with Equities, Futures, FX, Options and electronic trading
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams across regions
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align project or program goals with organizational objectives
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and interdependencies
Experience tracking KPIs, analyzing resource allocation, and driving process improvements
