Provide accurate repair solutions
Create detailed parts lists using shop software
Develop routing for each repair to support scheduling
Utilize various catalogs and online tools to identify required components
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Two or more years of experience in hydraulic pump and component repair and rebuild
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong knowledge of internal and external hydraulic components, how they operate, and proper testing and repair procedures
Ability to read micrometers, gauges, measuring tools, and blueprints
Must own personal measuring tools (0"-6") and basic hand tools
Lift/carry up to 40 lbs; pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, sit, climb stairs, and climb into machines
Frequent repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements
Preferred
Self-starter who works well independently
Strong attention to detail
Clear verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers
Proficient with wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment such as shop presses and power packs
