Responsibilities
Lead Change Release Management processes for the Aetna Line of Business
Evaluate architectural solutions to identify dependencies and impacts
Manage end-to-end enterprise change releases, coordinating with IT teams
Represent Aetna LOB in Change Advisory Board meetings and support change releases
Review and certify change plans for clarity, ensuring execution teams understand risks
Collaborate with teams to assess risks and define mitigation strategies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and defect remediation efforts
Qualification
Required
7+ years in senior IT leadership roles overseeing complex teams and process improvement
3+ years designing scalable, distributed applications with microservices and APIs
3+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies
3+ years' experience with observability and incident/problem management best practices
3+ years' experience in network security, firewalls, and remote access
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engaging with executives
Proven focus on automation and customer service excellence
