They are seeking a highly motivated and independent Scientist to join the Spatial Omics team, responsible for planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting complex spatial proteomics and/or spatial transcriptomics experiments using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities
Independently design, plan, execute, and interpret spatial omics studies with minimal supervision
Perform complex experiments using advanced spatial technologies, including Xenium, Visium, and COMET platforms
Analyze experimental data and proactively adjust experimental design based on findings with minimal guidance
Present project updates, data, and conclusions at internal and external meetings
Collaborate effectively in a highly multidisciplinary environment, ensuring strong partnerships with supporting labs to maintain end-to-end workflows
Maintain accurate scientific records, evaluate experimental results, draw conclusions, and align laboratory activities with team objectives
Adhere to laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and project timelines, reporting progress to the lab manager
Independently research internal and external scientific literature to inform study design and experimental layout
Execute established image and data management processes, including image alignment, image conversion, and data organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a relevant scientific discipline
0-5 years of relevant laboratory or research experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present scientific data
Proactive, independent, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work effectively in team-based settings
Preferred
Hands-on experience with spatial omics platforms such as 10x Genomics Xenium, 10x Genomics Visium, and/or COMET technology
Experience scanning fluorescent and histological slides
Background in quantitative image analysis and image processing; experience with machine learning is a plus
Experience working within cross-functional or multidisciplinary research teams
