The role involves working closely with various functions to enhance reporting capabilities and produce strategic business plans.

Responsibilities
Help with the expansion of management reporting from International to HNW
Help prepare Driver of Earnings and Monthly Business Reviews
Expand monthly business reporting capabilities
Support Data and Analytics team to automate and streamline reporting
Produce business plans and strategic plans for HNW including preparation of Corporate submissions
Improve forecasting capabilities to provide management with timely updates
Update key assumptions underpinning the business/strategic plans and review them for reasonableness
Perform ad hoc analysis and special project work as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience with IFRS 17 and LICAT
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate actuarial concepts to a finance perspective
Willingness to work unusual hours from time to time, due to Sun Life offices within other time zones
Preferred
Prior experience with Life insurance products considered a large plus
