Responsibilities
Perform daily laboratory activities including raw material inventory, equipment verifications, lab batching and stability
Document organization relating to the above activities
Prepare small-scale laboratory batches of oral and nasal care products
Monitor product stability via testing (i.e. pH, viscosity) at specified time points
Assist with maintaining good laboratory practices (e.g. maintaining raw material storage and inventory)
Assist with some minor administrative work (e.g. filing of project documents, transferring of hard copy data into electronic files on to company intranet, assisting with product bundle book compilation)
Qualification
Required
BS in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or related Life Science highly preferred
0-2 years industry exp
Knowledge of or familiarity with basic wet chemistry techniques and common lab instruments - pH meter, viscometer, analytical balances
Good sense for data/document handling/organization; must be able to think outside of box and understand purpose behind projects while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and be comfortable with computer data entry and management
Familiarity with good chemical laboratory practices
Effective communications skills
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Good organizational skills
