As a Federal Credits and Incentives Tax Intern, you will assist with tax planning and research related to federal credits and incentives, while developing strong working relationships with clients and contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
Assist with tax planning and research, as it relates to the Research and Development (R&D) credit, and other federal credits and incentives
Assist in implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of resources
Assist with drafting opinion letters and writing other technical memoranda
Develop an understanding of client's business
Help drive the success of multiple R&D, or federal credits engagements
Maintain competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications
Qualification
Required
90 credit hours completed
Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university
Accounting Major
Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
Preferred
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work effectively on a team
Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
