Early Intervention Service Coordinator
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of North Carolinians. They are seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to provide direct service coordination for children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program and support their families, ensuring compliance with federal law and state policies.

Responsibilities
Provide direct service coordination for children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program and their families/caregivers
Develop functional Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with families and providers
Work with multi-disciplinary teams to determine families’ needs for supports and services
Conduct home visits, coordinate, and facilitate services and transition planning
Participate in the authorization and monitoring of early intervention services
Qualification
Required
Must possess a bachelor's degree which allows certification as an Infant-Toddler Family Specialist
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education, Psychology from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of professional experience working with the population served
Bachelor's degree in human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of professional experience working with the population served
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Light work with some physical lifting
Ability to participate in activities that are developmentally appropriate to infants and toddlers
Ability to get up and down from the floor in clinic and family home environments
Ability to lift and carry young children
Must be able to drive and travel by car across the CDSA's defined catchment area
Preferred
Experience working with children 0–5 and their families, including children with developmental delays
Demonstrated knowledge of young child development
Experience working with and collaborating with families, community organizations, and other agencies
Ability to integrate the family into the intervention process and provide coaching on how the parent or other caregiver can facilitate and support skill development on an ongoing basis using the child's everyday routines
Experience working with infants, toddlers and their families using research-informed and/or evidence-based practices for the provision of early intervention services
Fluency in a second language
