Responsibilities
Create and maintain product configurations within the ERP System
Create and maintain Bill of Materials & Operation Routings
Independently resolve production, inventory planning and forecast issues
Monitor production schedule for delays and bottlenecks
Ensure flow of material within the business, research critical shortages
Coordinates with the production team to execute scheduled plan
Maintain effective communications with all support groups to ensure that proper attention is given to the manufacturing process
Forecast capacity requirements
Analyze safety stock requirements as well as MRP order actions
Review MRP exception messages and take appropriate action
Create work order packets on time in order to meet production schedule
Review, close and scan work orders in a timely manner
Review customer orders for schedule acceptance
Identify excess and obsolete inventory and implement actions to disposition it
It is the responsibility of all ASC employees to comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good MS Office skills
Proven work experience with a high level of detail and accuracy
Ability to solve problems effectively
Must have advanced interpersonal communication skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of standard office equipment, ie: computer, 10 key, copier etc
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
3 – 5 years' production control experience in a manufacturing environment
