Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of cross-functional project teams, including Project Management, Purchasing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Field Operations
Own and manage all engineering-related activities on assigned projects, including:
Developing, reviewing, and evaluating conveyor and material handling system designs
Interfacing with customers, vendors, and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues
Performing engineering design evaluations and executing project work under the direction of a senior engineering lead
Reviewing customer specifications to ensure designs meet all contractual and technical requirements
Providing technical support throughout engineering, fabrication, and installation phases
Producing system-level and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and other approved drafting tools
Reviewing drawings created by others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
Familiarity with standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures; experience in material handling or conveyor systems is preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project schedules and delivery expectations
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creativity and sound engineering judgment
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality and safety
Preferred
Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating work with other engineers is a plus
