Business Development Representative

CrisisGo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to support top-of-funnel pipeline growth through outbound and inbound prospecting. This entry-level role is focused on lead generation, basic qualification, and research, with guidance from the sales team to develop skills and confidence in managing prospects.

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and targeted outreach to generate qualified leads
Respond promptly to inbound leads from the website, chatbot, and other digital sources
Assist with researching prospective districts and organizations using tools such as GovSpend and online research
Support qualification of prospects based on defined criteria and align opportunities to CrisisGo’s ideal customer profile
Schedule discovery calls and demos, ensuring accurate handoff to the sales team
Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot for all outreach, research, and prospect interactions
Work toward achieving KPIs set on a six-month basis, with guidance and support from management
Manage daily priorities and follow-up under supervision, learning to work independently over time
Communicate progress, blockers, PTO, and availability to the sales team
Demonstrate responsiveness and professionalism with prospects and internal teams

Required

Comfortable making high-volume calls, sending emails, and following up consistently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn to manage time, priorities, and activity levels
Familiarity or willingness to learn CRM platforms and prospecting tools
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions carefully
Self-motivated and eager to grow in a KPI-driven sales environment
Ability to build positive relationships with prospects and internal teams
Open to feedback and coaching to improve performance and skills

Preferred

Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
