Senior Market Research Manager
Smith Hanley Associates is a boutique market research and consulting firm seeking a Senior Market Research Manager to lead high-impact qualitative and quantitative research for a primarily pharma/life sciences client base. The role involves managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and translating insights into actionable business guidance.
Responsibilities
Lead complex qual + quant research end-to-end (design, execution, analysis, storytelling)
Partner directly with senior client stakeholders to shape research objectives and recommendations
Translate insights into clear, actionable business guidance
Manage multiple projects at once across different clients and workstreams
Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and consultants
Support account growth and long-term client relationships
Qualification
Required
5+ years of direct primary market research experience (agency/consulting preferred)
Strong foundation in qual and quant methodologies
Comfortable advising senior leaders and presenting insights
Able to juggle multiple projects in parallel
Curious, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
Preferred
Pharma / healthcare experience a plus, not required
Qual moderation experience is a strong plus
