They are seeking a Buyer to manage MRO purchasing, negotiate pricing with suppliers, and ensure clients receive the necessary parts and materials efficiently.

Responsibilities
Manage and own MRO purchasing from starting with requisition and ending with receipt for specific clients
Handle transaction negotiations directly with clients offering top-notch customer service all while within timeline of preferred supplier strategy
Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers
Maintain transaction service metrics in an inbound call center environment
Review and handle all invoice exceptions associated with purchasing and the expediting of open orders
Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and other involved departments to resolve purchasing related issues and offer resolutions
Proactively communicate with suppliers when delivery dates are approaching and with field team relative to tracking orders, shipments, troubleshooting, and responding to all other questions
Potential traveling to customer sites may be required for training, meetings, or any other team support
Qualification
Required
Able to collaborate in a client-driven environment as this role will be highly customer service driven
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of ERP purchasing software
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience, especially in the purchasing field
