Assist in the execution of facility management
Assist in Project Management
Reports hazardous conditions and accidents and administers first aid when needed
Instructs individuals and groups in recreational activities; maintains discipline in recreational areas
Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Perform related work as required
Qualification
Required
Enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a degree seeking program in an accredited college or university in Sports Management, Recreation management, Physical Education or any field related to the area of internship
A Resumé is required for consideration for this position
A Cover Letter is required for consideration for this position
Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with supervisor, co-workers, other City employees and the general public
Skill in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, and to request clarification when needed
Preferred
American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED certification
American Red Cross Water Safety instructor
