Program Manager II

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with all team members to integrate individual perspectives and raise awareness of individual contributions to work products. Encourage others to deal openly and honestly with each other
Provide constructive feedback to other team members; actively solicit and consider feedback from others to inform corrective actions
Dedicate times and energy to help remove obstacles to facilitate achievement of team goals
Clearly communicate performance expectations and objectives to others to ensure understanding and buy-in. Aid others in understanding the steps and resources necessary to achieve and surpass desired results
Anticipate potential barriers to achieving team objectives, and collaborate with others to develop strategies for success. Take action to implement and correct plans to ensure goals are met within reasonable or defined timelines
Leverage comprehensive knowledge of Curia’s mission, business processes, policies and practices in making decisions and recommendations
Utilize solid understanding of the business and market factors to inform business recommendations
Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts within own technical area to develop relatively advanced programs/processes
Serve as an expert within a specific technical area; educate others on technical issues
Develop positive internal and external customer relationships by consistently and efficiently delivering value. Uncover customers’ hidden needs or issues by asking insightful questions and developing rapport
Commit to gaining customer loyalty by consistently meeting needs and striving to exceed expectations without over-committing resources
Adopt customers’ perspectives to anticipate their expectations and develop and evaluate solutions accordingly. Ask clarifying questions about concerns to identify underlying issues
Play a consultative role to the business by presenting compelling ideas and suggestions and helping identify appropriate solutions
Convey information in a confident and credible manner to gain commitment for desired outcome
Gain commitment by highlighting areas of agreement and focusing efforts on resolving areas of disagreement
Develop detailed project plans for discipline/department; identify milestones, resource implications, timing and costs, with an emphasis on sustainability
Guide others in time management to accurately predict the time required to complete tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
Develop solutions to overcoming risks within a project to ensure project success; recognize the need to escalate issues to higher levels when proposed solutions are note producing desired results
Ensure that others understand and achieve quality standards through active communication and monitoring
Perform analysis and design on projects to determine benefits to Curia
Review information to uncover patterns, issues and risks that may cause or contribute to problems. Use advanced tools to integrate and assess multiple sources of data or information. Draw from standard practices to implement solutions for complex problems in a timely manner
Measure performance for implemented solutions against desired results and make basic improvements; demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for outcomes
Effectively use materials in oral and written presentations; focuses presentation to address critical issues
Ask probing questions to draw out underlying issues
Proactively gather input from a variety of sources to build on ideas and solutions in a constructive manner. Actively seek ways to improve team processes, and identify and research areas of improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 years' related work experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field and 1-year related work experience
Ability to explain concepts in a clear and logical manner, utilizing relevant examples and illustrations
Ability to respond to concerns or objections and shape communication messages to address them
Ability to develop ideas and solutions for simple problems while contributing to solutions for complex problems
Ability to draw upon relevant experience to assist in the implementation of ideas and solutions effectively and efficiently
Must pass a background check
Must pass a drug screen
May be required to pass Occupational Health Screening
