Responsibilities
Lead and execute Salesforce QA activities: test planning, test case design, test execution and defect management
Build and maintain automated test suites (UI and API). Playwright experience is a strong plus / preferred
Perform hands-on API testing (REST/SOAP) and validate integrations between Salesforce and middleware
Write and run complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, migrations, and reporting
Validate middleware flows (for example MuleSoft or comparable ESB) and collaborate with integration engineers to triage issues
Support Salesforce Admin / APEX related testing: validate triggers, flows, custom logic and permission sets
Design and execute integration tests and ETL validation to ensure end-to-end data fidelity across systems
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and provide clear automation metrics and reporting
Maintain test evidence and results in TestRail and ensure tight linkage between test cases and Jira issues
Work closely with developers, business analysts and product owners to ensure timely delivery and production readiness
Proven experience with integration testing: validating end-to-end flows between Salesforce and other systems
ETL testing: validating extracts, transforms and loads, data reconciliation, mapping rules and error handling
SAP ⇄ Salesforce integration testing: experience validating data mappings, interfaces (IDocs/BAPIs/CPI or similar), reconciliation and triaging intermittent integration issues
Hands-on validation of middleware integrations (MuleSoft experience is a plus) and knowledge of common integration failure modes and retries

Integration / Pre-requisite testing experience (important)
Proven experience with integration testing: validating end-to-end flows between Salesforce and other systems

Proven experience testing Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / custom objects)
Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting
Hands-on API testing experience (designing tests, using Postman/HTTP clients, writing automated API tests)
Practical test automation experience: ideally with Playwright (or equivalent modern frameworks)
Experience validating middleware integrations (MuleSoft experience is a plus)
Familiarity with Salesforce Admin tasks and APEX behaviour to design meaningful tests and reproduce issues
Practical experience with TestRail and Jira, including: linking TestRail test cases to Jira issues, syncing test runs / defect creation, and automating result uploads from CI pipelines
Clear communicator in English, team player, pragmatic problem solver
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Preferred
Experience in regulated / enterprise environments (logistics, manufacturing, distribution)
ISTQB or similar certification
Experience with other test management tools (Zephyr, Xray) and source control (Git)
Experience with data migration projects and large-volume data validation
Familiarity with CI systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and automating TestRail/Jira integrations
