Responsibilities
Lead the design of HVAC, hydronic heating/cooling, and process air handling systems for industrial and commercial projects
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce integrated, high-quality designs
Prepare, review, and approve construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices to junior engineering staff
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure designs meet performance goals, budgets, and regulatory requirements
Oversee the design and integration of mechanical utilities and plumbing systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BSME, BSMET, BSAE) or a related field required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
Minimum of 10 years of experience designing HVAC systems, process heating/cooling, and mechanical utilities
Demonstrated expertise in boiler and chiller central plant design
In-depth knowledge of HVAC control systems and their integration
Proficient in Revit with a strong understanding of design documentation
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of complex HVAC and mechanical utility systems
Collaborative problem-solver who thrives in multi-disciplinary project environments
Strong communication and leadership abilities with a focus on mentorship and team success
Excellent project execution and coordination skills across all design phases
