Responsibilities
Provide technical accounting and financial reporting support on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and other GAAP-related issues
Assist clients with the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and accounting policy development
Support transaction-related engagements, including IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and divestitures
Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda and supporting documentation
Advise clients on internal controls, accounting processes, and financial reporting best practices
Collaborate with audit, tax, finance, and executive leadership teams to deliver integrated solutions
Manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development, depending on level
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA required or in progress
Experience in public accounting (audit and/or advisory), typically 2+ years
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience researching and interpreting accounting guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
