Responsibilities

Design and develop Battery Management Systems (BMS) controlling voltage, temperature, current, and state-of-charge monitoring across multiple product lines

Lead PCBA layout and design using Altium Designer or Cadence OrCad for next-generation energy storage solutions

Drive electrical system specifications balancing economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on new product development from concept through production

Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and support quality teams in root cause analysis

Validate electrical/electronic hardware through comprehensive design reviews and hands-on testing

Provide technical expertise for CAN, RS485, and external interface implementations

Maintain engineering design standards while supporting production floor troubleshooting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

8+ years electrical engineering experience

3+ years battery technology or energy storage systems experience

Strong schematic reading and electronic assembly troubleshooting skills

Hands-on experience with CAN, RS485, and external communication interfaces

Proficiency debugging with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, and logic analyzers

Soldering capability for through-hole and surface mount assemblies

Experience with project/issue management tools
