Responsibilities
Receives, researches, and responds to incoming questions or complaints; provides information, explains policy and procedures, and/or facilitates a resolution
Interprets, clarifies, explains, and applies agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations, etc
Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines, etc
Identifies data and information which suggests developing patterns of problems or complaints, from which general or specific trends and patterns can be discerned, suggesting a need for further investigation
Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations
Identifies problems or potential problem areas and recommends solutions
Validates state payroll against federal reports
Establishing employer accounts pursuant to statute
Qualification
Required
The ability to work multiple queues with tight time constraints
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor during challenging calls as well as the ability to show sensitivity and tact
Ability to learn and understand Employment Security Act and relative rules, policies and procedures and apply them effectively
The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
Takes the initiative to resolve issues, learn new skills and complete projects in a timely manner
Has strong interpersonal skills, takes the initiative to communicate with others and resolves differences in an amicable fashion
Is well organized, proficient with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs
You must successfully pass a criminal history check
Preferred
Preference may be given to applicants who speak Spanish fluently
Experience with customer service and data collection
