Staff Accountant/Premium Administration
Premier Worksite Benefits is a leading provider of employee benefits and payroll billing solutions, committed to accuracy and exceptional client service. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate billing for employee benefits and payroll services.
Responsibilities
Support premium administration processes, including premium allocation, reconciliation, and processing of payments
Maintain accurate and timely accounting records related to premiums and other financial transactions
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Support audits and tax filings
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Assist with billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
CPA/CMA or working toward certification
Experience in payroll accounting or working with payroll service providers (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex)
Experience with benefits administration and billing systems
