Responsibilities
Field observes construction activities on capital improvement projects: Documents and prepares daily reports on work completed by contractor; ensures construction techniques and materials satisfy requirements and intent of project drawings and specifications; assures construction activities and materials comply with Park District policies; participates in project meetings providing insight to project specifics and progress; performs measurements and prepares notes pertaining to actual field conditions
Assists the Director of Construction and Associated Divisions by assuming project assignments, assisting in design and drafting, and performing various operations functions
Acts as a representative of operations to the public, community groups, industry professionals, and other appropriate agencies to provide information concerning park district operations
Qualification
Required
