Responsibilities
Assist the investment team in conducting due diligence on various private equity funds and managers and assess the merits of investment opportunities
Review annual and quarterly reports and financial statements of LBO/venture/energy/mezzanine funds
Analyze the long-term viability of portfolio companies, the market for their products/services, their financing needs, and the fund's exit options
Participate in deal meetings to determine price, structuring and negotiation tactics
Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting
Prepare investment analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or investment management
Preferred
candidates with 1-2 years of experience will be considered a Senior Analyst
