Responsibilities
May perform quality assurance audits and process reviews and communicates the results for one or more of the following areas: Electric Operations, Gas Operations, or Energy Supply
May track audit findings and the resultant corrective action plans by working with teams from the appropriate line of business to define corrective actions, to verify the completion of the corrective actions, and to validate the effectiveness of those corrective action
May work with or provide information to various regulatory agencies, e.g., CPUC Electric Incident Reports; CPUC Inspections; CPUC audit reports; CAISO maintenance inspections; FERC audits or investigations, and NERC/WECC Reliability Standards Compliance
Provides quality consulting to internal clients by evaluating and reviewing processes to ensure reliability improvement is embedded into the processes, and to share best practices
Coaches, develops and leads the team members to achieve the department goals and the individual's development objectives
Qualification
Required
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
5 years of experience in auditing or quality assurance
2 years supervisory or project/team lead experience
Travel is 40% with occasional overnight stays
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in process engineering
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent
ASQ Certified Quality Manager or equivalent
Registered Professional Engineer
Certified Project Manager or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Able to evaluate, analyze, explain, and present audit results to the audit client, audited organization, and senior management
Proficient with Microsoft Visio and Project
