Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively participating in Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives, and providing strategic QA inputs
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and reusable automation components
Lead the creation of comprehensive testing artifacts including Project-level and Sprint-level Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Automated Test Scripts
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests in compliance with defined quality standards and best practices
Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects through resolution using established Defect Management processes
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to support Iteration Reviews (Demos), Exploratory Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Coordinate and support Performance, Security/Vulnerability, and other Non-Functional Testing initiatives
Provide accurate effort estimations, schedules, and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to sprint and project timelines
Mentor junior and mid-level QA team members, promoting QA best practices and continuous improvement
Prepare and present QA status reports, test metrics, dashboards, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders
Ensure alignment with project priorities, delivery milestones, and organizational quality standards
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance / Automation Test Engineer
10+ years of experience managing QA activities across multiple large-scale, high-visibility projects within complex functional domains and matrixed environments
10+ years of experience communicating, reporting, and presenting QA status, risks, and metrics to senior leadership and business stakeholders
Preferred
10+ years of experience in QA, including test planning, test strategy, defect management, and automation
10+ years of experience leading end-to-end functional and automation testing for enterprise applications
8+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium, Katalon, or similar automation frameworks
8+ years of experience using Jira, Xray, or equivalent test management tools
8+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages
