Responsibilities

Assist with new hire orientations, ensuring all safety and compliance materials are properly reviewed and understood
Enter and maintain employee information in Oracle HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality
Participate in career fairs, community outreach, and other talent acquisition events
Support recruitment efforts by screening candidates, scheduling interviews, participating in interviews, and conducting reference checks
Assist with project work, including reviewing and updating job descriptions across all departments
Help support communication efforts between HR and hourly workforce, including posting memos, updating boards, and relaying announcements
Assist with additional projects as required

Required

Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in Human Resources or Business
Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience with a HRIS or ATS
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
