Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Responsibilities
Manage and optimize inventory flow and allocation systems, including JDA auto-allocation schedules, variables, store views, and allocation methods
Prioritize product movement across the supply chain network, including imports, domestic orders, and distribution center inventory
Analyze pre-season and in-season changes in product flow, including promotional and holiday demand shifts
Provide creative and data-driven solutions to allocation challenges and evolving merchandise strategies
Monitor and maintain system interfaces to ensure data accuracy and operational effectiveness
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL, enterprise data warehouses, and supply chain systems
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated KPI tracking for inventory, replenishment, transportation, and logistics
Perform root cause analysis on supply chain, allocation, and transportation issues and recommend corrective actions
Support ad hoc analytical requests and present insights to leadership and cross-functional partners
Document processes, data flows, and reporting standards to ensure scalability and consistency
Analyze transportation and logistics costs to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling related to transportation spend
Partner with supply chain, transportation, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency and performance outcomes
Develop and maintain performance metrics to support leadership decision-making
Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners on system alignment, testing, and enhancements
Participate in system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and implementation of new tools
Assist in training new and existing team members on allocation systems and reporting tools
Lead or support cross-functional supply chain projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
Bachelor's degree required; Master's strongly preferred
3–6+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics, transportation analysis, inventory planning, or operations finance
Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Familiarity with ERP and supply chain platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Relex, JDA, or similar)
JDA Allocation experience (1+ year preferred)
Experience working with large, complex datasets in fast-paced environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy
Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to understand root causes
Strong business-partner orientation with operations-focused thinking
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-changing environments
Preferred
Transportation or logistics experience in manufacturing, food, retail, or CPG environments
Exposure to transportation cost drivers such as freight rates, fuel, and volume fluctuations
Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages
Experience with continuous improvement or cost optimization initiatives
