Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for utilization of commercial insurance products to mitigate business risk
Coordinate with all disciplines across the business to understand risks that can potentially be insured
Manage all insurance procurement and the insurance budgeting function
Responsible for insurer and broker relationships
Support Finance in all insurance matters impacting budgeting, cash planning and financing
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on insurance matters, including contract reviews
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
Manage the insurance budget
Ensure insurance policy terms and conditions address risks and reflect market terms

Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher is required
10+ years of Insurance or Risk experience, either in a corporate insurance environment or with an insurance brokerage firm or insurance company
Knowledge and experience of the commercial insurance markets
Ability to work collaboratively across a growing, dynamic company
Fluent in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
Excellent communication skills with an appreciation for being proactive
Ability to function under pressure in a fast-moving organization

Preferred

Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, or related field is preferred
Oil & Gas experience strongly preferred
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) is a plus
