Responsibilities
Coordinate engineering for steam and power generation projects
Design of electrical drawings, specifications, cable tray, conduit, and cabling designs
Specification of switchgear, MCC’s, transformers, motors, lighting panels, lighting, PLC’s, VFD’s, etc
Coordination of subcontract packages for electrical contractors
Maintain one-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc
Travel to the project construction site as needed throughout the duration of the project (approximately 25% travel)
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of experience in the design of electrical power systems in heavy industrial settings
Experience in Cable Tray and Conduit modeling in Revit
Experience with Cablematic
Experience with underground duct-banks
Experience with electrical equipment layout drawings
Associate or Certificate in Electrical Design
Five years of experience in the design of electrical power systems in a steam and power generation plant
Preferred
Specific experience working for an EPC firm involved in steam and power projects
