Accounting Operations Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly/annual close processes
Perform budget variance analysis and support financial forecasting
Support internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and required reporting
Oversee select tax-related filings and payments
Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures
Lead and develop accounting staff, including scheduling, performance management, and timecard approval
Ensure compliance with confidentiality, information privacy, and organizational policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years of accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Willingness to travel between branch locations as needed
Ability to work extended hours during peak periods
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., with or without accommodation
