Service Technician

Responsibilities

Responds to service appointments in a timely matter in all types of weather and light conditions
Conducts wellness checks at locations to ensure Accel Entertainment equipment is clean and serviceable
Uses computer and cell phone applications to perform duties and complete administrative tasks
Cleans, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots VGTs, RTs, Amusements, Standalone ATMs, and Marketing equipment. Performs repairs, adjusts, and/or replaces parts as necessary to keep equipment operating in optimal condition
Communicates with Accel Entertainment employees and customers to ensure minimum equipment down time and an optimal customer experience
Replenishes cash cassettes and coins in RTs, ATMs, and change machines
Completes hand pays with cash when required
Safeguards company property by following company policies and standard operating procedures
Manage vehicle inventory to ensure commonly used parts and tools are available when needed
Able to interpret VGT pay lines and rules, and able to explain them to customers
Uses hand tools to perform adjustments and/or replace parts on VGTs, RT, Amusement equipment, and Standalone ATMs
Able to use wiring diagrams to aid in troubleshooting VGTs, RTs, Amusement equipment, and Standalone ATMs. Uses multimeters, outlet testers, and cable testers to test for continuity and voltage
Follows procedures for parts control and ordering replacement parts
Completes all necessary documentation for device entry and in-house logs
Delivers equipment, funds, and supplies between company locations to other company locations, and customer locations, or to other technicians as needed
Restocks amusement supplies as needed
Follows policies and procedures for maintaining company assigned vehicles
Follows all Accel and IGB policies and procedures
Works full shift in assigned service territory
Performs other duties as required

Required

Experience in Slot machine, VGT, Amusement, ATM service or in a related technical field desired
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Minimum 21 years of age
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects
Must be willing to work rotating, on-call, weekend and evening shifts including holidays
Must be able to obtain a terminal handler license
Capable of working independently or as part of a team
Has the flexibility and willingness to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities

Preferred

Mechanically inclined individual preferred
Some PC or networking skills desired
