This role consolidates responsibilities currently handled by outsourced accounting services into a single in-house leader.

Own full accounting operations across both entities
Maintain GAAP-compliant books and internal controls
Manage monthly close and financial statements
Oversee AP, AR, payroll coordination, and cash transactions
Manage CPA firms, tax providers, and auditors
Direct labor, payroll burden, and overhead absorption
Inventory, WIP, and finished goods accounting
Standard costing and variance analysis
Margin visibility by garment and program
Annual operating plan and rolling forecast
13-week cash flow forecast
KPI dashboards and variance analysis
Pricing and margin modeling
Inventory purchasing cadence and payment timing
Vendor payments and customer collections
Inventory turns and production cash cycles
Banking and financing support
Payroll, benefits, and HR administration coordination
Timekeeping and compliance reporting
Insurance, workers’ comp, and vendor contracts
Hiring and onboarding support
Monthly executive and board reporting
Financial insight and performance analysis
Investor and lender reporting support
Qualification
Required
10+ years finance or accounting experience
Prior Controller or Director-level experience
Manufacturing or inventory-based business experience
Strong GAAP and cost accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel and modeling skills
