Outside Sales Account Manager
Sankyo America Inc is a Japanese trading company that specializes in the sales and distribution of Automotive plastics to Tier 1 and Tier 2 molders of automotive parts. They are seeking a full-time Outside Sales Account Manager who will conduct sales in the field, focusing on customer interactions and providing product education to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities
Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers and suppliers
Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers and suppliers
Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
Work closely with other departments
Preparing presentations
Create and revise customer quotations
Obtain and verify customer forecasts
Maintain proper Inventory levels
Monitor and analyze sales/profit/Inventory
Monitor customer payment performance
Monitor customer's financial situation
Make trip reports for customer and supplier visits
Communicate with suppliers for above topics and issues
Report to supervisor and report current topics at sales meetings
ISO9001 compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree is required
Must be able to travel to other states by car 5 or 6 nights a month
This position will not support visa sponsorships
Preferred
Experience with automotive industry preferred
Basic Japanese language knowledge a plus
Experience with Japanese businesses huge plus
