Responsibilities
AP Operations Leadership: Oversee high-volume AP functions including vendor relations, payment processing, 1099 reporting, and day-to-day team management
Process & Systems Management: Implement and refine AP policies, controls, and workflows while supporting the Epicor-to-Kinetic ERP migration
Financial Close & Reporting: Lead AP month-end close activities, reconcile postings, and monitor KPIs such as DPO, invoice aging, and payment accuracy
Vendor Payments & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate disbursements across multiple payment channels (ACH, credit card, lockbox, emailed and manual checks)
Automation & Optimization: Drive AP automation initiatives, strengthen three-way match performance, enhance EDI adoption, and streamline end-to-end AP processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7-12 years in accounting or AP, including 3+ years of management or supervisory experience within a high-volume AP environment
Advanced Excel proficiency with strong experience in large ERP systems (Epicor/Kinetic preferred) and 1099 processing
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage daily AP operations while driving strategic process improvements in high-volume environments
Preferred
Background in distribution, logistics, or PE-backed environments strongly preferred
