Responsibilities
Data entry of inbound ocean container milestones
Ocean container delivery order releases to carriers, transit time reporting, and financial reporting
Timely and efficient resolution of ocean and drayage demurrage and detention
Review port of entry websites and maintain accurate shipping schedules
Download logistics data and create reports in Excel
Communicate with service providers including ocean carriers, trucking companies, and freight forwarders
Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding parts shipments
Assist with carrier bill pay, audits, and carrier rate reviews
Qualification
Required
Drayage experience required
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow and create standard operating procedures
Proficient in clerical work and Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred
AP/AR experience is a plus
Operational experience and automotive industry knowledge are a plus
