Responsibilities

Execute core components of the full recruitment lifecycle for college and early-career talent, including sourcing, candidate engagement, screening coordination, interview scheduling, offer support, and onboarding preparation, while aligning delivery to enterprise early talent programs and assigned business-unit needs
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support LOB-specific early-career hiring demand while ensuring consistency with enterprise college and military recruiting strategies
Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, community colleges, career services offices, and student organizations to support enterprise early-career pipelines and business-unit–specific hiring goals
Ensure Clean Harbors is actively represented at college career fairs, information sessions, and campus engagement events, either through direct on-site participation or by coordinating appropriate company representation
Coordinate day-to-day operations of internship, co-op, and entry-level recruiting programs, supporting program calendars, candidate communications, and intern onboarding logistics across assigned business units
Track and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data integrity and supporting reporting on early-career recruiting metrics such as pipeline activity, hiring progress, and intern conversion outcomes at both the enterprise and LOB levels
Support employer branding and early-career engagement efforts by coordinating recruiting events, outreach campaigns, marketing materials, and partnerships with the Marketing department
Follow and adhere to recruiting documentation, SOPs, process guides, and manager-facing resources to support consistent and scalable execution of early-career programs across business units
Participate directly in military-connected recruiting efforts, including SkillBridge and veteran pipelines, contributing to candidate identification, engagement, and program delivery aligned to enterprise early-career strategy and business-unit hiring needs
Engage with military installations, transition assistance offices, veteran service organizations, and military-focused recruiting events to promote Clean Harbors’ enterprise military programs and DoD SkillBridge participation
Own execution of key SkillBridge operational activities, including onboarding coordination, documentation management, participant communications, and alignment with recruiters, hiring managers, and business-unit stakeholders
Ensure timely, professional communication and a high-quality candidate experience for both college and military-connected candidates

Required

Experience in college, early-career, military recruiting, or a program-based talent acquisition role supporting enterprise or multi-business-unit initiatives
Demonstrated ability to partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners in a matrixed environment, supporting hiring across specific business units while aligning to centralized TA programs
Working knowledge of college recruiting strategies, early-career program design, and internship or entry-level hiring processes; exposure to military transition programs or SkillBridge is a plus
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across corporate, field, and enterprise teams
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and recruiting data or reporting tools
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, program-driven environment, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive recruiting practices and delivering a high-quality candidate experience
Requires 3–4 years of experience in college recruiting, early-career programs, or related talent acquisition initiatives, with exposure to program-based, enterprise, or multi-business-unit environments
Involves approximately 20–30% travel (local and national) to support campus recruiting events, early-career programs, and military-connected initiatives, including career fairs and partnership engagement
