DWI Compliance Monitor Supervisor
NEOGOV is seeking a DWI Compliance Monitor Supervisor to oversee Santa Fe County’s DWI Screening/Compliance and Monitoring program. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating compliance efforts, and managing databases to ensure compliance with court-ordered sanctions for DWI offenders.

Responsibilities
Supervises staff, provides instruction to employees; plans and assigns work; evaluates and approves/disapproves leave requests; approves timesheets; checks final work to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; recommends the hiring of new employees; recommends disciplinary action; provides feedback on work performance for employees; completes performance evaluations for employees
Coordinates the efforts of the Compliance Subcommittee of the DWI Planning Council
Conducts evaluation of alcohol and substance abuse treatment efforts to determine the effectiveness of treatment programs and treatment approaches used in the community
Attends DWI dockets as needed to monitor DWI cases and to register defendants for Noble IDA Assessment and screenings
Oversees Compliance programs bench warrant filing system, insuring filing system is updated on a regular basis by removing warrants that have been quashed by the court or that have been served and closed out
Manages and maintains required databases, ensures timely input of offender information, Gathers and reviews program data to identify trends amongst DWI population
Serves as the primary point of contact with the Courts regarding programmatic issues such as scheduling, record keeping, and offender compliance
Analyzes policies and procedures to improve program efficiency and effectiveness. Implements and administers fiscal and performance aspects of the Compliance program
Maintains working relationships with community providers and other organizations by attending various committees and boards to ensure continuity of services
Assists in the preparation and submission of LDWI quarterly reports for the Alternative Sentencing Component
Assists in assessing program needs and coordinates resources to enhance existing programs
Must complete all training as designated or assigned
Performs other duties as directed or assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Five (5) years of experience in Psychology, Social Work, Court Systems, Law Enforcement, Public/Business Administration, or Health Services
Two (2) years of which must be in a supervisory capacity
A completed New Mexico EDGE Public Supervisor certification will substitute for two (2) years of required supervisory experience
Education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis
Must complete all training as designated or assigned
Selected candidate must submit to and pass a County paid pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
Selected candidate must submit to and pass a county paid criminal background screening
Selected candidate must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Class D Driver's License
