Staff Chief Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Chief Engineer to lead cross-discipline engineering teams for medium to high-risk projects, ensuring successful project execution and collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities
Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phases
Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts
Interpret statements of work assigned by program leadership
Develop and execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecasts
Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing
Work with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirements
Brief internal and customer leadership on progress of work assigned
Perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 12 years of related experience, or Master's Degree and 10 years of related experience
Must have a current/active Secret Clearance. Secret Clearance is required to start. Must be able to obtain SAP access. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance and access for continued employment
4 years of Experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills
4 years of Engineering leadership experience in a team environment
4 years of experience in the Design, Manufacturing or Test process
4 years of experience with developing and executing project schedules
Preferred
Experience in development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systems
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projects
The selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills
PMP certification
Active and current Top Secret government clearance
