Temp Senior HR Business Partner
Brandeis University is looking for a Temporary Senior HR Business Partner in the Office of Human Resources. This position provides strategic human resources support to Brandeis’ schools and departments, focusing on employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.

Responsibilities
Supports respective areas of the University by providing human resources advice and counsel with regard to employee relations and retention, benefits, compensation, workforce planning and design, performance management and the interpretation of collective bargaining agreements. Elevate more complex inquiries as necessary to relevant HR department with specific subject matter expertise. 30%
Meets regularly with leadership in assigned areas of the University to understand academic, programmatic and operational goals. Provides Human Resources advice and counsel to advance and ensure success of leadership initiatives consistent with Brandeis University policy, practice and philosophy. 20%
Recommends improvement to HR policies and procedures where appropriate (process improvement, tracking, reporting, etc.). 10%
Based on interactions with assigned University area, assess training needs and partner with Training Specialist to develop and deliver training content. 10%
Respond to and resolve non-bias related employee complaints and employee relations escalations. 10%
Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data gathered as a result of exit interviews for use in trending and metrics reporting. 10%
Participates in committee activities, special projects, or other duties as assigned. 10%
Qualification
Required
BS/BA/equivalent plus at least 8 years total work-related experience in one or more key areas of employee/labor relations, recruitment, HR analytics, ERP systems, HR generalist services; preferably two or more areas
Preferred
Experience working with unionized employees
