Responsibilities
Evaluate incoming IT, mobile, and networking equipment to determine functionality, condition, and/or repair needs
Test and troubleshoot hardware and internal components (servers, switches, desktops, laptops, etc.)
Perform logical data sanitation to industry standards
Refurbish, repair, and prepare equipment for resale, including OS imaging and patching
Maintain accurate inventory records and document equipment evaluations
Collaborate with the recycling team to ensure compliance with proper handling and disposal standards
Stay current with technology trends and equipment values in the secondary IT market
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with IT hardware and networking gear (servers, switches, laptops, desktops, routers, etc.)
Strong understanding of internal system components and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to test/assess hardware conditions and refurbish equipment to working condition
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
Must be able to lift and move IT equipment as needed
