FSQA Manager- Green Forest, AR- 1st shift
Tyson Foods is a leading company in the poultry industry, and they are seeking an FSQA Manager to oversee the FSQA department's daily management. The role involves ensuring food safety, compliance with regulations, managing inspection programs, and leading a team to maintain product quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Manage production practices including raw material receiving requirements, preoperational and operational sanitation, finished product quality, and Food Safety Systems
Ensure all Tyson FSQA policies and procedures are followed
Monitor, verify, and document adherence to government regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP and SSOP based inspection programs
Ensure finished product conforms to customer product and label specifications
Report product issues and audit results to plant and corporate FSQA, plant management, corporate sales, and operations
Interact with customers and their agents for product showings, plant tours, and audits; visit customer facilities for initial product runs and investigate responses to quality-related customer complaints
Monitor microbiological results, conduct bacterial swabs, and generate shelf-life environmental graphs
Assist on projects
Provide documentation and aid in hands on and written training
Responsible for implementing and maintaining food safety and quality programs
Select, train, and manage FSQA Supervisors and FSQA Technicians
Qualification
Required
Requires broad knowledge in general professional or technical field. This knowledge is normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job
3 plus years of experience
Standard computer skills required; generating spreadsheets and developing templates for use by plant management and corporate FSQA, sales, and operations
Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal, demonstrating the proven ability to correspond with all levels - line team members to corporate management
Must have good problem identification and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently yet interact with many different facets within the organization and be the plant liaison to USDA
Manage crewing, labor, and attendance of the FSQA department
