JA Program Manager - PT
Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay empowers young people to own their economic success and thrive in a global economy. The Part-Time Program Manager plays a key role in delivering JA’s two signature capstone simulations: JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, supporting volunteers and guiding students to ensure impactful program delivery.

Responsibilities
Prepare, inspect, and readiness‑check all learning spaces to ensure all programs are fully operational
Facilitate student orientation and support student activities
Provide real‑time support on the simulation floor to maintain flow, troubleshoot issues, and uphold JA program fidelity
Welcome, train, and guide volunteers through their roles in BizTown and Finance Park to ensure they feel confident and supported
Operate the technology systems used in onsite programs, including computer stations, point‑of‑sale systems, printers, and experience‑specific software (training provided)
Assist the team in resetting and preparing BizTown and Finance Park for the next program day, including restocking materials and maintaining inventories
Maintain a safe, organized, student‑centered learning environment
Support attendance tracking, data entry, and collection of volunteer/educator feedback
Help identify opportunities to improve program flow, clarity, or experience quality
Qualification
Required
Experience working with youth, educators, or volunteers in educational, nonprofit, camp, museum, or customer-facing environments
Strong communication, public speaking, and group facilitation skills
Organized, punctual, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in dynamic program settings
Tech-comfortable with basic computer and POS systems (training provided)
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and assist with materials setup (up to 25 lbs)
