Responsibilities
Develop detailed work plans for maintenance activities, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, and special equipment and access requirements
Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance execution and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance plans
Manage an assigned log of planning work in a way that ensures business priorities are met
Plan and optimize the allocation of manpower, materials, and tools for maintenance tasks
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve cost efficiency through effective planning
Ensure spare parts and materials are planned and available before maintenance tasks are required to be scheduled
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, NFPA) and regulatory requirements
Participate in safety reviews, including risk assessments and job hazard analysis
Maintain accurate records of maintenance history and performance in the CMMS
Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and support reliability initiatives
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Direct hands-on experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical work is strongly preferred
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in maintenance planning within the LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry
Proven experience with CMMS tools (Preferably SAP 4 HANA and Prometheus) and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, work processes, and equipment used in LNG facilities
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Experience in planning and executing large-scale turnarounds or shutdowns
Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and failure modes analysis (FMEA)
Preferred
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent
HSE certifications (e.g., OSHA, Confined Space Entry)
