Responsibilities
Utilize Sage software to streamline accounting tasks and reporting
Compile financial information to perform routine accounting processes such as general ledger entries. Reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and perform analytical reviews of schedules and documents
Manage month-end close activities to produce reliable financial statements
Maintain detailed records and reports to support organizational financial health
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures
Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and reports as required
Assist Controller with various accounting projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
5 years' experience with general staff accounting
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and change tasks quickly as needed
Excellent problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
Strong understanding of journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Desire to self-improve through working through challenging tasks
Ability to collaborate with team members to enhance financial workflows and accuracy
Looking for advancement within the company through performance
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
