Responsibilities
Lead and support the quality team to ensure strong performance and consistent product quality
Maintain and oversee the plant’s Quality Management System and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements
Handle customer quality concerns, PPAPs, audits, and corrective actions
Work with suppliers to address incoming quality issues when needed
Manage quality documentation including control plans, FMEAs, capability studies, and nonconformance reports
Drive root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
Partner with Engineering and Operations to improve processes and support new launches
Reduce scrap and improve product quality through data-driven improvements
Train and develop the quality team to strengthen skills and performance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of management experience within an automotive Tier 1 environment
IATF 16949 experience required
Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational, financial, regulatory, and business data
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field preferred
ISO 14001:2015 experience preferred
Certified or experienced Continuous Improvement / Kaizen / Lean facilitator
