They are looking for an experienced Cloud Administrator to manage and support their AWS and Azure environments, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across multi-cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain services and applications within AWS
Manage cloud maintenance activities including upgrades, patches, backups, and resource configuration across AWS environments
Administer data standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain processes for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and High Availability (HA) in coordination with IT Operations and Development teams
Provide diagnostic support for hardware, networks, and software in cloud-based environments
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multi-cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with IT R&D and IT Operations teams to enhance cross-functional communication and improve operational efficiency
Implement process improvements to optimize AWS & Azure cloud environments
Obtain and maintain relevant certifications to stay current with evolving technologies
Maintain consistency in approach/standards across cloud environments
Participate in after-hours and on-call support rotations

Required

Extensive experience in cloud administration with AWS and Microsoft Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with network configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity
EXCEPTIONAL knowledge of AWS & Azure core services, cloud storage (Azure Blob/Files, AWS S3/EFS), Kubernetes, and resource management
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, network, and software issues in cloud and hybrid environments
Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to identify, understand and take appropriate action on projects, issues, and support
Proactive / forward thinking

Preferred

Familiarity with AWS and Azure security, compliance, and monitoring tools (Azure Defender, Purview, Sentinel, AWS CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Security Hub)
Experience with SentinelOne SIEM platforms
Experience with server-based Domain Controllers (DCs), Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), AWS IAM
Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, AWS CLI, Azure CLI, or similar tools
Understanding of continuous automation across multiple technology stacks
Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and app management
Experience with Datto RMM
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Jira for project tracking
